
Principal, Security Engineering & Vulnerability Management for WB Games

Responsibilities
- Align WB Games security initiatives with WBD cybersecurity strategy and business priorities.
- Lead adoption of global security policies, standards, and core security services across WB Games.
- Drive vulnerability and threat remediation across internet-facing and internal assets and reduce time-to-remediate.
- Support cybersecurity incident investigation and mitigation and manage security exceptions and risk acceptance.
- Provide key risk indicators, analytics, metrics, and executive-level reporting to leadership.
- Embed secure development controls and threat modeling into GitHub and Perforce workflows and lead security reviews for game launches, releases, and live-service features.
- Partner with engineering, studio, security operations, and incident response teams on security architecture, compliance, and operational decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, or 10+ years of previous technical security experience.
- At least 10 years of supervisory or management experience in a technical security environment.
- Strong technical engineering background engaging with software, infrastructure, and platform engineering teams on architecture, code, and operational decisions.
- Experience securing the software development lifecycle, including GitHub, Perforce, SAST, DAST, secrets management, branch protections, and CI/CD guardrails.
- Proven experience with vulnerability and threat remediation at scale, prioritization of exposures, root-cause fixes, and time-to-remediate reduction.
- Proficiency in cloud security, application security including the OWASP Top 10, SIEM and logging tools, vulnerability management, EDR/XDR, network and compute architectures, IAM, and PAM.
- Knowledge of information security regulations and control frameworks including ISO, NIST, PCI, GDPR, CCPA, and SOX.
- Hands-on experience with security incident response, risk management, audit and regulatory requirements, and enterprise security solution design and implementation in a global context.
- Experience leading projects with global matrixed teams and communicating effectively with executives and technical engineering audiences.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or SANS are a plus; media, broadcast, and entertainment cybersecurity experience is also a plus.

- Hybrid schedule requiring three days onsite in the New York City or Burbank office.
- Base salary range is $177,170.00-$329,030.00 per year, with potential bonuses, incentives, and program-specific awards.
