Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Team Lead, Product Owner, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers to develop product features and support customers.
- Write solution designs and review them with technical leads and architects.
- Participate in client workshops and support business analysts with requirements analysis.
- Design, develop, maintain, improve, and optimize software functionality within the team’s area of responsibility.
- Develop and maintain automated tests and take ownership of the assigned area of expertise.
- Work with agile processes and Jira ticketing platforms.
Requirements
- A university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferable.
- Several years of continuous relevant software development experience and in-depth software engineering knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Python, C++, or similar experience is valuable.
- Ability to understand business needs and produce clean designs and high-quality code.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a structured and autonomous approach to complex technical and business problems.
- Fluent English is required as the common language across regions.
- Experience in financial services or Treasury, Avaloq or other Treasury IT vendors, FIX, SWIFT MT, MX, or ISO 20022 is advantageous.
- German language skills are a bonus.
