Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance customer-facing experiences on Wellmark.com using frontend web technologies.
- Design, implement, and improve user interface components focused on usability, accessibility, and digital experience.
- Support web content management systems used by Marketing and Corporate Communications teams.
- Collaborate with developers, marketers, leaders, and business stakeholders to plan solutions, gather requirements, and deliver enhancements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, take ownership of assigned work, and contribute to team initiatives.
Requirements
- Be a current junior, senior, or master’s student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Have experience or exposure to SCSS, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, or frontend web development.
- Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, accountability, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools such as Teams.
- Preferred qualifications include a previous internship, co-op, or campus leadership role; website or personal web development experience; familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design; and understanding of Agile development practices.
