Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based software modules.
- Test software rigorously, produce comprehensive documentation, and adhere to industry standards.
- Build reliable and scalable software solutions supporting operational requirements.
- Collaborate with system engineers and team testers on continuous improvement.
- Translate customer requirements, system constraints, and bug-fixing tasks into clean, maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and the full software lifecycle from requirements and architectural design through implementation.
Requirements
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English is required; Danish is advantageous but not required.
- Applicants should be full-stack or back-end developers with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field.
- A proven solid track record as a software engineer is required.
- Experience designing software solutions across requirements, architectural design, and implementation is required.
- Experience with code reviews and knowledge sharing is expected.
- Candidates should be proactive, collaborative, self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and able to work in complex, specialized environments.
- Applicants must be able to obtain security clearance by the Danish Defense Intelligence Service, including meeting the stated residency and criminal-record conditions.
