Responsibilities
- Develop and support divisional products and their applications.
- Improve existing product capabilities and conceive new product features.
- Solve functional, application, and production problems using software engineering and control-programming approaches.
- Develop C programs and complex control algorithms for embedded control systems.
- Provide technical assistance to marketing, sales, and service, including support for brochures.
- Apply development, design, application, and testing approaches while maintaining thorough product knowledge.
- Manage project schedules and reporting responsibilities.
- Understand customer requirements and respond to customer feedback.
- Organize and complete engineering assignments in a timely, quality-focused manner.
- Supervise and mentor an intern.
- Follow safety regulations and contribute to workplace safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
- At least 3 years of related software programming experience.
- Strong C programming skills and ability to solve complex control algorithms using C.
- Knowledge of electrical components and embedded control systems.
- Familiarity with the IEC 61131-3 standard.
- CODESYS programming experience for mobile machines.
- Familiarity with the software development process and project management software.
- Ability to listen, read, and write English; fluent spoken English is a plus.
- Hardware design experience or a mobile hydraulics background is a plus.
