Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code for Waze’s Android application.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select technologies.
- Review code from other developers and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product changes and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their impact on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- At least 2 years of Android application development experience.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
