Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain OCI security guardrails across tenancy and compartment hierarchies.
- Build and optimize cloud detection and response capabilities using OCI logging, monitoring, events, and SIEM integrations.
- Define Cloud IAM, RBAC, and least-privilege controls.
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and deployment automation using Terraform and CFT.
- Lead or support cloud security incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
- Drive vulnerability and misconfiguration management for OCI assets, including prioritization, exception governance, and remediation tracking.
- Track security posture KPIs and report on control coverage, remediation velocity, and residual risk.
- Partner with platform, product, application, and infrastructure teams to advance secure-by-design cloud strategy.
- Share security insights, industry practices, and emerging trends across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree.
- At least 4 years of experience in software and cloud infrastructure engineering across various technology platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing OCI security controls and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with cloud IAM, RBAC, and least-privilege principles.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Terraform, CFT, or similar tools.
- Experience with cloud security incident response, vulnerability management, and misconfiguration remediation.
- Preferred experience using AI-assisted tools to improve engineering productivity or operational efficiency.
- Preferred experience with InsightCloudSec, Wiz, Zscaler, Defender for Cloud, Cloud Guard, or Data Safe.
- Ability to learn new features and validate emerging technologies.
