Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot end-to-end Salesforce CRM Analytics/Tableau software and analytics solutions.
- Build production code, data pipelines, dashboards, lenses, datasets, recipes, integrations, and security controls for Salesforce and related systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex analytics and AI-driven applications while meeting performance, security, scalability, and governance requirements.
- Develop advanced visualizations, dashboards, reports, KPIs, data models, and monitoring processes from large and diverse datasets.
- Drive adoption, governance, validation, and reuse of approved AI-assisted engineering practices and automation.
- Partner with product owners, data engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions.
- Identify and remediate data quality, performance, integration, and user-experience issues.
- Contribute to engineering and analytics communities of practice and mentor junior developers and analysts.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied Salesforce development and/or analytics experience.
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing CRMA/Tableau dashboards, datasets, dataflows or recipes, and security predicates in a large corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce data models, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom objects.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Salesforce configuration, Lightning pages, and Lightning Web Components.
- Experience designing connectivity and integrations using REST APIs, messaging, data transfers, ETL/ELT, OAuth2, connected apps, caching, and asynchronous processing.
- Demonstrated experience with AI/ML software development life cycle activities, including design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and monitoring processes for data quality, integrity, and usage.
- Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security controls, including coaching senior engineers or leads.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce CRM Analytics and Discovery Consultant, Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, or relevant cloud certifications.
- Preferred experience includes Tableau Desktop/Server/Cloud, advanced calculations, data blending, performance tuning, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, AWS, Azure, GCP, data lakes or warehouses, MLOps, and operationalizing AI/ML models.
