Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI/LLM-powered contract parsing and term extraction pipelines.
- Own the design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operation of distributed systems processing confidential contractual data under demanding SLAs.
- Build event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, and DynamoDB.
- Write high-quality, testable code in Java, Kotlin, Python, and TypeScript.
- Contribute to system architecture, technical direction, reliability, scaling, operations, and process improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and partner engineering teams to define scope and ship customer-impacting features.
- Mentor and support the growth of other developers.
- Validate billing data and automated discounts for AWS customers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Professional programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, architecture, code reviews, source control, continuous deployment, testing, and operational excellence.
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience delivering complex software systems to customers.
- Preferred: experience with machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, natural language processing, or machine learning and large language model fundamentals.
- Preferred: experience designing, building, operating, and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services.
- Preferred: experience building data-driven web applications that consume RESTful services and APIs.
