Responsibilities
- Develop tools that enable developers and users to perform their work securely and efficiently.
- Operate and manage secrets and authentication management tool instances.
- Develop tooling for continuous audit, code analysis, and other security analysis activities.
- Support existing Application Security team products and develop new features for them.
- Develop OIDC identity providers, workload identity tools, certificate authority infrastructure, and cloud assessment tools.
- Develop management tools and support foundational components including Kerberos, SSH, and SSL.
- Define application security best practices, perform software architecture and design reviews, conduct white-box security testing, and support vulnerability identification and remediation.
Requirements
- Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline from a top-tier university.
- Solid understanding of UNIX security.
- Strong programming experience, preferably in Python or Rust.
- Experience operating security infrastructure and developing integrations of security products.
- Ability to communicate and design security solutions from first principles.
- Experience with Linux, Kerberos, SSL, SSH, and Active Directory.
- Experience with agentic development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of industry tools such as GitLab, Nix, Red Hat Linux, Claude, and Jira is beneficial.
