
System Test Engineer

Base Salary
$64k - $128k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and write detailed test plans with engineers for complex communication systems.
- Define and communicate basic test strategies.
- Execute system tests across multiple hardware platforms.
- Document identified defects and collaborate with engineers on defect characterization.
- Use automation tools, lab test equipment, and protocol analyzers in a telecommunications development lab.
- Travel to other CACI locations or customer sites as necessary.
- Follow CACI ethical, compliance, environmental health and safety, and workplace safety policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of skills, education, and experience.
- 0–2 years of related experience.
- Experience with development tools such as editors and compilers.
- Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other required software applications.
- Familiarity with software engineering processes from requirements reviews and code inspection through component delivery and sign-off is desired.
- Knowledge of Windows and Unix/Solaris/Linux servers, workstations, and networks is desired.
- Knowledge of IP-based telephony architecture, configuration, and maintenance is desired.
- Must obtain a Top Secret clearance as a condition of continued employment.
