
Product Software Engineer - Agentic AI

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and maintainable enterprise software solutions.
- Build and enhance AI-powered application features using LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-based approaches, workflow automation, and agentic AI techniques.
- Develop and integrate APIs, application services, cloud-based components, AI services, business rules, and application components.
- Test and validate AI-enabled features, create unit and integration tests, and improve software quality, accuracy, reliability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot application defects, AI workflow issues, and production incidents while optimizing applications for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, technical documentation, risk identification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment activities, release readiness, and production monitoring using Azure DevOps and related tooling.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA, DevOps, Security, tax subject matter experts, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
- Experience building web applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, REST APIs, microservices, cloud services, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
- Understanding of secure software development, authentication, authorization, and data privacy principles.
- Exposure to Generative AI technologies, AI-enabled applications, or AI-assisted development tools is preferred.
- Experience working within an Agile software development lifecycle and strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the U.S. tax or accounting domain is a plus.
