Responsibilities

  • Prepare, explore, validate, and improve data for machine learning use cases.
  • Develop and evaluate machine learning models and AI-enabled software components.
  • Write clean, tested, and documented code using appropriate engineering tools and practices.
  • Support model integration, deployment, monitoring, and performance improvement.
  • Contribute to technical reviews, experiments, troubleshooting, and structured problem solving.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers, researchers, software specialists, data specialists, systems specialists, and domain specialists on live projects.

Requirements

  • Three A Levels with grades B or above in Maths and at least one relevant subject such as Physics, Computer Science, Software, or ICT, or a similar Level 4/5 apprenticeship.
  • At least five GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A–C), including English and Maths.
  • Computer Science graduates are not eligible because of funding restrictions.
  • Permanent right to work in the UK and the ability to complete and maintain BPSS and SC security clearance.
  • Typically, applicants must have lived continuously in the UK for the last five years to be eligible for SC clearance.
