Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement mission-critical software applications for Alexa experiences.
- Build tools and establish best practices that improve Alexa development, testing, release, and maintenance.
- Support the stability, performance, reliability, and scalability of Alexa customer experiences.
- Provide leadership, research, audit reports, support, and education to internal Alexa development teams.
- Contribute across the software development life cycle, including coding, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of video games industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
