Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable integrations connecting Legion with HR, POS, payroll, and other enterprise systems.
- Build and test integrations using Workato and develop secure REST APIs within Legion’s API-driven ecosystem.
- Use modern cloud platforms to deliver high-performance and reliable integrations.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers on solution design, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve backend reliability with core and production engineering teams.
- Write secure, testable, efficient enterprise-grade integration code and contribute across the development lifecycle.
- Identify, report, and prioritize product bugs and enhancements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to scalable integration best practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and support issues that may occur outside normal business hours.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of business, information, solution, or technical architecture experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant STEM field such as Information Systems, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- At least 3 years of experience with event-driven architecture and microservices.
- Deep expertise with integration technologies and protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, JMS, and JDBC.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments, Core Java, relational databases, SQL, and JDBC.
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS technologies including AWS CDK, CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, and EC2.
- Experience with test-driven development, Java RESTful web services, CI/CD processes, and tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Preferred experience with workforce management integrations and platforms including Workato, SAP BTP Integration Suite, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, and SnapLogic.
- Preferred technical consulting experience, Docker experience, and end-to-end integration experience with external applications such as Workday and SAP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and root-cause analysis abilities.
