Responsibilities
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures while analyzing and tracing requirements.
- Document, investigate, reproduce, and report product and software defects, working with engineering on resolution.
- Collect and analyze test results and beta user feedback when applicable.
- Verify software modifications in new releases and maintain test cases.
- Communicate product and project status to internal customers and product owners.
- Participate in process improvements, release deployment coordination, and software functional specification analysis.
- Train and mentor new quality assurance associates.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or a minimum of two years of equivalent education and experience.
- Relevant experience or training in product or software quality assurance processes and methodologies.
- Excellent academics, generally with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently.
- A bachelor’s degree, GPA of at least 3.5, open-water dive certification or higher, Garmin product testing experience, and experience creating test plans or writing test scripts are preferred.
