Responsibilities
- Turn Growth team problems into small, useful full-stack releases across backend and frontend.
- Own database schemas, query performance, indexes, transactions, locking, and safe migrations on live databases.
- Build third-party integrations handling API quotas, rate limits, retries, and webhooks.
- Create retry-safe payment and messaging workflows with duplicate prevention and audit trails.
- Ship LLM features and measure quality, latency, and cost per result.
- Own environments, releases, monitoring, security, access control, and shared on-call support.
- Define success metrics, track adoption after launch, and improve shipped features.
Requirements
- Production experience building and operating backend systems and explaining technical decisions and results.
- Strong Python and full-stack delivery skills, including backend services and React screens.
- Deep PostgreSQL knowledge covering data modeling, query plans, indexes, transactions, locking, and live migrations.
- Experience implementing API authentication, object-level authorization, role isolation, and IDOR prevention.
- Hands-on experience with Linux, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, and production debugging from logs.
- High agency, ownership, receptiveness to feedback, and ability to work effectively in an intense, rapidly changing environment.
- Bonus experience with influencer marketing, affiliate programs, creator payouts, large-scale YouTube data, email deliverability, or LLM evaluations and cost tracking.
