Responsibilities
- Implement Dynatrace onboarding for applications and environments.
- Configure dashboards, alerts, monitoring views, management zones, tagging strategies, and access controls.
- Support incident investigation, root-cause analysis, production issues, outages, and stabilization activities.
- Deploy and manage OpenTelemetry Collectors in agent and gateway modes.
- Configure telemetry pipelines for metrics, logs, and traces using sampling, filtering, and enrichment.
- Integrate Dynatrace with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow for incident creation, correlation, and tracking.
- Analyze runtime behavior, service dependencies, capacity trends, and observability insights.
- Apply reusable observability patterns, standards, documentation practices, and noise-reduction activities.
- Support AMS and production operations while participating in knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Act as an SME, collaborate across multiple teams, make team decisions, provide solutions, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Dynatrace APM and Dynatrace observability.
- Hands-on experience with OneAgent deployment and lifecycle activities.
- Knowledge of metrics, logs, distributed tracing, application performance monitoring, and optimization.
- Experience with dashboards, alert configuration and tuning, management zones, tagging strategies, and access configuration.
- Experience supporting Davis AI problem analysis, incident triage, AI-driven root-cause analysis, and noise reduction.
- Ability to design scalable telemetry pipelines with sampling, filtering, and enrichment.
- Ability to analyze runtime system behavior and service dependencies using traces and metrics.
- Understanding of modern software development frameworks, methodologies, and relevant coding languages.
- Awareness of GenAI and agentic AI concepts in IT operations, including validating AI-generated insights.
- Dynatrace Associate Certification is preferred; experience with Splunk and Datadog is good to have.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
