Jr Software Engineer
TripAdvisorResponsibilities
- Build and ship features for tour and activity businesses using Bókun’s booking management software.
- Work across the frontend and backend stack with React, TypeScript, and Java.
- Take features end-to-end from idea through production in collaboration with product, design, and other engineers.
- Write production code daily and participate in code reviews, pairing, and technical collaboration.
- Continue developing engineering skills while learning new technologies and practices, including AI-assisted coding.
Requirements
- Computer Science degree.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Comfort communicating in English.
- The role is open to engineers with up to 3 to 4 years of experience, including recent graduates with strong projects.
- Nice-to-have familiarity with TypeScript, React, or Java.
- Nice-to-have experience with REST APIs, modern web development, and relational databases using SQL.
- Personal projects, open-source contributions, or a portfolio are valued.
