Base Salary
$216k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own major backend systems for frontier agentic data products from exploration to deployment.
- Build scalable services and pipelines for agent workflows with high reliability.
- Architect modular backend systems that adapt to evolving product needs.
- Break down open-ended problems and execute solutions in high-ambiguity environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver systems.
- Enhance system performance and cost efficiency through architecture and optimization.
- Raise engineering standards through design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals including distributed systems and API design.
- Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
- Ability to ship quickly in fast-changing environments, preferably with startup experience.
- Experience building scalable systems such as queues and data pipelines.
- Comfort working with AI/ML systems, with production experience valued.
- Proficiency in SQL and modern database-backed application development.
