Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain engineering automation applications using Rulestream, C#.NET, and VB.NET for configurable designs in Solid Edge.
- Build applications, user interfaces, database structures, integrations, and full-stack solutions across desktop, web, and client applications.
- Act as a Rulestream Architect and improve CAD automation capabilities and engineering design workflows.
- Support SQL Server and Oracle database development and integration requirements.
- Apply software design patterns and maintain scalable, maintainable engineering solutions.
- Support CAD modeling, drafting standards, Design for Manufacture, and Design for Assembly principles.
- Maintain engineering tools and outputs including spreadsheets, calculations, parts lists, and BOM generation processes.
- Develop system procedures, technical documentation, user guides, and process documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and training to colleagues and stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in software development and strong experience in CAD automation or engineering application development.
- Experience as a full-stack developer across desktop, web, and client applications.
- Strong experience with Rulestream Architect, Engineer, VIA Web and Integration, ASP.NET, C#.NET, Entity Framework 6, LINQ, REST and SOAP APIs, serialization technologies, jQuery, AJAX, ReactJS or Angular, Bootstrap or Material UI, JSON, XML, WinForms, and WPF.
- Experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality solutions.
- Effective spoken and written English communication skills.
