Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Android projects using established best practices and guidelines within cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement clean, platform-appropriate user interfaces.
  • Take responsibility for engineering team deliverables in a cross-functional feature-focused team.
  • Take a proactive, hands-on approach to features and tasks.
  • Contribute to technical architecture and design discussions.
  • Own substantial pieces of work from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Maintain and contribute to extensive UI and unit testing practices.
  • Contribute to the wider Android community through blog posts, open-source projects, or talks.

Requirements

  • Mid-level Android development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of reactive programming techniques.
  • Ability to contribute to technical architecture and design discussions.
  • Commitment to unit and UI testing.
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum, cross-functional team.
  • Ability to take ownership of significant work through planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Passion for Android development and the wider Android community.
