Responsibilities
- Learn the BrandX domain, technology stack, and partner teams.
- Own small-to-medium features from requirements through delivery.
- Write, review, test, debug, and deploy reliable software.
- Build web interfaces, billing and finance integrations, authentication functionality, and AI-assisted Dashboard features.
- Use Claude Code and GitHub Copilot as part of daily development.
- Contribute to test coverage, CI, deployment practices, team ceremonies, learning activities, and the on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience or a strong portfolio of shipped projects.
- Working knowledge of C# and .NET.
- Some experience building web UIs; experience with React and TypeScript is used by the team, though other modern frameworks are acceptable.
- Comfort with SQL and relational data.
- Understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and when to use each.
- Daily experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, with understanding of the fundamentals behind generated code.
- Ability to communicate proactively, document work, and collaborate across time zones.
