Base Salary
$177k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize distributed data pipelines for processing multi-sensor logs.
- Develop and tune heuristic-based and ML-assisted algorithms for event tagging.
- Extract and format scenario data to ensure semantic consistency.
- Manage the ingestion of tagged events into the observations database.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define interesting scenarios.
- Mentor and guide less-experienced engineers while fostering a culture of excellence.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a STEM field with 6+ years of experience in data engineering or ML systems.
- Strong Python and SQL skills with experience in processing large datasets.
- Hands-on experience in machine learning and dataset curation.
- Experience using Databricks or similar platforms for large-scale analytics.
- Expertise in distributed compute frameworks and cloud platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills to translate complex challenges for stakeholders.
