Base Salary
$125k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and deliver high-quality application code using organizational best practices.
- Lead feature design and implementation for the broader team.
- Act as a technical expert in at least one area while maintaining strong knowledge of the overall system architecture.
- Influence decisions involving system and platform diagnosis, monitoring, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Deliver and present solutions for large initiatives spanning multiple teams.
- Identify team problems and implement innovative technical solutions.
- Design and develop scalable, highly available, high-performance products across frontend and backend architectures.
- Participate in technical reviews across the business and provide feedback on projects outside the core area.
- Reduce complexity in projects, services, and processes to improve efficiency.
- Participate in special projects and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience building commercial applications using modern software engineering practices.
- Experience completing production-level work quickly and efficiently.
- Experience independently leading a substantial portion of project delivery.
- Experience reducing complexity in projects, services, and processes.
- Strong influence and thought leadership in distributed software delivery teams using Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience with cloud technologies, AWS, serverless systems, event-driven architecture, SOC, microservices, microfrontends, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and other modern technologies.
- Strong knowledge of professional software engineering practices and the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, architecture and design patterns, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
