Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own canonical data models and define how business concepts map across marketing, sales, billing, and product operations systems.
- Define and drive adoption of standards for data modeling, quality, testing, governance, and documentation.
- Lead complex migrations, system consolidations, and core integration re-implementations through design, validation, cutover, and stabilization.
- Build, review, and ship SQL and Python transformations and production data pipelines.
- Design validation, reconciliation, monitoring, alerting, and data quality frameworks for integration health, freshness, and accuracy.
- Lead root cause analysis and systemic remediation of complex cross-system data issues.
- Translate business requirements into data models and technical designs while aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Serve as a technical lead, review designs and code, and mentor engineers.
- Maintain design documents and current- and target-state data flow documentation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a similar role, with deep business data modeling and transformation experience.
- Expert SQL proficiency, including complex transformations, performance tuning, and large-scale reconciliation.
- Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript and experience building production-grade, tested data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, Workday, or Zendesk data models, including a migration, organizational merge, or major re-implementation.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale ETL/ELT solutions and related data quality, validation, and governance frameworks.
- Ability to evaluate short-term delivery versus long-term architecture trade-offs and communicate decisions clearly.
- Ability to lead through influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct authority.
- Preferred experience with dbt or a similar transformation framework.
- Preferred experience with iPaaS platforms such as Celigo, Workato, or Boomi and reverse ETL tools.
- Preferred experience with AWS or GCP, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD for data pipelines.
- Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities for data quality, matching, and automation.
