Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, monitor, and implement information and database security solutions.
- Manage database activity monitoring policies, event analysis, performance monitoring, infrastructure maintenance, and database security standards.
- Administer DLP systems and policies, develop data-leakage detections, investigate DLP incidents, and report data-leakage trends and metrics.
- Provide endpoint security administration and operational support for EDR and next-generation antivirus technologies.
- Respond to security incidents, perform root-cause and forensic analysis, recommend containment controls, and lead remediation.
- Design, build, operate, and maintain network security infrastructure including firewalls and VPNs, with a focus on AWS cloud services.
- Develop and enhance security controls, policies, procedures, compliance baselines, encryption practices, PKI processes, and security metrics.
- Evaluate patches, releases, controls, and configurations for security risks and coordinate testing, implementation, and remediation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, auditors, vendors, and security operations teams to address security gaps and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Strong technical experience in cybersecurity, insider threat, incident response, security operations, or a related information security field.
- Experience in database security, DLP engineering, data security, encryption engineering, insider threats, network security, PKI engineering, security analytics, system security, or related areas.
- A degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, information security, cybersecurity, engineering, mathematics, information technology, statistics, data science, or a related field.
- Experience in banking or finance is preferred.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, database platforms, cloud security, network security, encryption, vulnerability management, incident response, and security analytics.
- Relevant certifications may include CEH, CGRC, CISA, CISM, CISSP, GCIH, GSEC, GIAC, OSCP, Security+, SANS, or related certifications.
- Ability to lead complex security efforts, communicate technical findings to technical and non-technical audiences, and work independently across multiple teams.
