Responsibilities

  • Design systems and applications to support large software development projects using MongoDB.
  • Advise customers on best practices for utilizing MongoDB effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure success in assigned accounts.
  • Conduct technical discovery, demos, and presentations to support sales efforts.
  • Translate technical concepts into business benefits for stakeholders.
  • Capture customer feedback to inform product management.
  • Participate in trade shows and marketing events to drive demand.
  • Mentor pre-sales team members and share best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of pre-sales experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with a strong software development background.
  • Proficiency in modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js) and/or programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java).
  • Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
