Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the technology roadmap for General Accounting, Treasury, and related finance solutions.
- Serve as solution authority for General Ledger, Treasury and Cash Management, Bank Connectivity, Electronic Banking, Financial Close, Consolidation, SAP add-ons, and non-ERP systems.
- Lead finance technology initiatives including SAP implementations, upgrades, acquisitions, divestitures, and optimization projects.
- Manage solution design, blueprinting, testing, deployment, cutover, hypercare, support transitions, and lifecycle management.
- Lead architecture design for SAP S/4HANA Finance and related finance applications.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, compliance, and financial standards.
- Facilitate requirements sessions, workshops, design reviews, and solution demonstrations with business and technical stakeholders.
- Develop strategic roadmaps, drive process standardization and automation, and support finance transformation.
- Guide global teams and external partners through complex design decisions and technology delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 8–10 years of experience in information technology assessing software functionality and designing and implementing enterprise finance technology solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience with global financial systems including SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- At least 5 years of experience integrating SAP with add-ons, bolt-on and cloud solutions, treasury management applications, bank interfaces, Lease Accounting, Financial Close automation, and compliance solutions.
- Deep understanding of financial business processes including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, and Forecast-to-Stock.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, US GAAP, statutory reporting, SAP Treasury and Risk Management, Cash Management, BCM, MBC, and In-House Banking.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP FICO, Treasury Management solutions, and SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations.
- Proven experience leading global projects, cross-functional initiatives, globally distributed teams, and external partners.
- Strong finance and accounting acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include an accounting background, CPA certification, experience implementing AI across financial processes, experience with Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Controlling, and Tax, and Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Agile, or SAP certifications.
