Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, optimize, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and architecture.
- Develop Terraform modules and pipelines to automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration.
- Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment automation.
- Apply cloud security, networking, resiliency, governance, high availability, and business continuity patterns.
- Lead the design process for network connectivity to Azure.
- Collaborate with Agile teams, cloud developers, leadership, product, and design to deliver cloud solutions.
- Participate in requirements reviews and technical discussions while managing complex technical details and interdependencies.
- Learn and apply new cloud technologies and practices to improve platform reliability and delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or another related quantitative discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience with a degree, or 2 years without one, supporting cloud initiative strategy, architecture, design, and implementation; the posting also lists a 2-year degree or 4-year non-degree path.
- Experience configuring, deploying, and automating Azure cloud environments.
- Experience with Terraform, YAML, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- DevOps automation experience, including CI/CD process setup and configuration.
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Chocolatey.
- Understanding of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, load balancing, and standard networking components.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, rapid cloud prototyping, and solution piloting.
- AWS and GCP experience are preferred.
- Willingness to travel throughout the organization and service territory and work extended hours as required.
