Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, optimize, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and architecture.
- Develop Terraform modules and pipelines to automate resource deployment and configuration.
- Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines for cloud provisioning, deployment, and configuration.
- Apply cloud security, networking, resiliency, governance, high-availability, and business-continuity patterns.
- Lead the design process for network connectivity to Azure.
- Support cloud developers in optimizing and automating cloud deployment activities.
- Collaborate with Agile teams, leadership, product, and design to deliver cohesive cloud solutions.
- Participate in requirements reviews and technical discussions while managing complex technical details and interdependencies.
- Evaluate and learn new cloud technologies and practices.
- Travel throughout the organization and service territory and work extended hours as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or another related quantitative discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience with a degree, or 2 years without a degree, supporting cloud strategy, architecture, design, and implementation; the posting also lists a second requirement of 2 years with a degree or 4 years without.
- Experience configuring, deploying, and automating Azure cloud environments.
- Experience with Terraform, YAML, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- DevOps automation experience, including CI/CD process setup and configuration.
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, and Chocolatey.
- Understanding of HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, load balancing, and standard networking components.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and rapid prototyping or piloting of cloud solutions.
- AWS and GCP experience are preferred.
