Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function.
- Build and maintain UI and REST-service test automation frameworks.
- Lead the adoption of quality engineering best practices and intelligent automation solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, manage and mentor team members, and make team decisions.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and provide solutions to cross-functional testing and workflow challenges.
- Configure and integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines when applicable.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required, with at least 5 years in automated testing also stated.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Experience building and maintaining end-to-end UI and REST-service automation frameworks.
- Expertise with Playwright, Java, RestAssured or another Java REST library, Maven or another build tool, and Cucumber-based BDD.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL querying tools such as SQL Server.
- Experience with Selenium and Postman or RestAssured for API and UI test automation.
- Knowledge of Karate for API test automation is preferred.
- Exposure to DevOps environments, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab or equivalent, and Git or other version-control tools is preferred.
- Ability to serve as a subject matter expert, lead teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor team members.
