Base Salary

$78k - $125k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own testing cycles spanning analysis, planning, test development, execution, and quality validation.
  • Define test approaches and build test scenarios for CNN Digital products.
  • Create and enhance automated tests in collaboration with senior engineers.
  • Participate in test case and code reviews and communicate through technical documentation and stakeholder interaction.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical challenges related to software testing.
  • Improve testing processes and maintain the long-term health of manual and automated test suites.
  • Stay current with testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of software testing automation experience.
  • Working knowledge of at least one test automation framework.
  • Working knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with debugging tools and CI/CD processes.
  • Understanding of unit, functional, integration, API, load, and performance testing.
  • Strong web-domain knowledge and understanding of digital product development across web, mobile, OTT, and backend infrastructure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Digital payments project knowledge, subscription lifecycle testing experience, and financial regulations or compliance testing knowledge are preferred or beneficial.
  • Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Charles Proxy, Postman, or BrowserStack.

Benefits

  • Pay range is $77,900.00-$124,600.00 salary per year.
