Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test safety-critical real-time software in an agile multidisciplinary team.
- Develop embedded applications and low-level platform software for Flight Control Computers.
- Conduct software reviews and document software architecture and development activities.
- Support software increment planning and contribute to design definition and improvement.
- Analyze stakeholder and upper-level requirements and write actionable requirements that comply with quality criteria.
- Define requirements allocation to system elements and manage requirement changes, including impact analysis.
- Verify that requirements are correctly and completely implemented.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- At least three years of professional experience.
- Good knowledge of embedded systems software development and/or low-level platform software.
- Good knowledge of processors and processor architectures for safety-critical computing.
- Experience defining hardware/software interfaces.
- Experience with programming standards and model-based system design, including data flow and state machine diagrams.
- Experience with SCADE, automated code generation, and requirements engineering.
- Hands-on experience with ED-12C/DO-178C, ED-218/DO-331, and ED-80/DO-254 safety-critical standards.
- Experience with ARINC 653-based real-time operating systems and IMA under ED-124/DO-297 is highly desired.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and English-language skills; German is a plus.
