Base Salary
$230k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of authentication and authorization systems.
- Propose and implement cloud-based identity solutions for scalability and flexibility.
- Own and evolve Maven's auth platform, setting implementation standards.
- Drive technical design discussions and guide team members on best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new auth features.
- Mentor mid-level engineers to enhance their technical skills.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies in identity and access management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of backend development experience, with 3 years focused on identity management.
- Deep expertise in modern auth protocols like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
- Experience designing complex distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Strong expertise in developing cloud-based solutions on platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and secure data handling.
- Familiarity with security and compliance requirements for identity systems is a plus.
- Experience leading technical discussions and providing guidance on best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-quality code.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
