Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and participate in product planning and sprint backlog meetings.
- Own the full software development lifecycle from business requirements through coding, deployment, and maintenance.
- Create and maintain technical design, architecture, troubleshooting, and documentation materials.
- Analyze stack traces, crashes, memory issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement patches, backports, and enhancements in Asterisk source code.
- Develop custom C modules and design and implement Asterisk dialplans.
- Work with Linux systems, systemd, networking, tuning, and kernel parameters.
- Develop and scale SIP proxy features for a cloud PBX solution with high availability and scalability.
- Work with cloud environments, preferably GCP, and participate in architecture decisions.
- Act as a technical lead and own engineering best practices, code quality, and documentation.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of production experience with large-scale deployments.
- Strong hands-on Java experience and hands-on experience with C.
- Experience with CI/CD, cloud environments, Linux, and networking.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Maven.
- Proficiency with relational databases, particularly MySQL, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
- Ability to work cross-team with backend developers, infrastructure and DevOps, QA, and product owners.
- Good level of English, B2 or higher.
- Technology-agnostic mindset, strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, initiative, and responsibility.
