Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and participate in product planning and sprint backlog meetings.
- Own the software development lifecycle from requirements through coding, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain technical design, architecture, troubleshooting, code-quality, and documentation practices.
- Analyze stack traces, crashes, memory issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Implement patches, backports, and enhancements directly in Asterisk source code.
- Develop custom C modules and design and implement Asterisk dialplans.
- Work with Linux systems, systemd, networking, tuning, kernel parameters, and cloud environments, with GCP preferred.
- Participate in architecture decisions and act as the technical lead across teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of production experience with large-scale deployments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and hands-on experience with C.
- Experience with CI/CD, cloud environments, Linux, and networking.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Maven.
- Proficiency with relational databases, particularly MySQL, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Ability to work cross-team with backend developers, infrastructure/DevOps, QA, and product owners.
- A technology-agnostic mindset, strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, initiative, and responsibility.
