Base Salary
$75k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain intuitive, responsive user interfaces using React and CesiumJS with strong UX/UI practices.
- Perform manual, exploratory, regression, system-level, and performance testing to identify defects and usability issues.
- Evaluate Docker containers and system configurations for effects on application performance, stability, and behavior.
- Test interactions among the React/CesiumJS frontend, Node.js backend, PostgreSQL database, and Windows/Apache environment.
- Design practical testing processes and documentation, document defects, and collaborate with developers on resolutions.
- Provide updates to team members and stakeholders while supporting software quality, user experience, and reliability improvements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional web application development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another technical discipline, with additional experience potentially accepted in lieu of the degree.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
- Strong React, JavaScript, and TypeScript expertise.
- Significant CesiumJS or similar 3D geospatial visualization library experience.
- Demonstrated UX skills and ability to build clean, intuitive, responsive interfaces.
- Strong background in software testing, quality assurance, and systems evaluation.
- Experience testing Docker-based applications and understanding container-to-system interactions.
- CompTIA Security+ certification, including SY0-601 or SY0-701, required.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Node.js.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with SAFe, JIRA, Apache HTTP Server on Windows, geospatial data, 3D web applications, performance testing tools, CI/CD pipelines, Navy programs, NAVWAR, NIWC Pacific, or NIWC Atlantic.

- Salary range is $74,800.00-$130,900.00 annually.
