Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply computer vision, LLM, and multimodal AI techniques to construction documents and other messy, heterogeneous data.
- Prototype, iterate, and deploy end-to-end AI systems using production data and user feedback.
- Own modeling, data pipelines, inference infrastructure, data labeling, ETL, and deployment for the intelligence layer.
- Collaborate with product teams and users to identify and prioritize high-impact problems.
- Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and results clearly across the team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated production experience applying computer vision and/or multimodal AI to real-world data.
- Experience launching an AI system into production or building the core of a new product from scratch.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and modern computer vision or multimodal model techniques and tooling.
- Ability to iterate quickly from user feedback and work across the full spectrum of startup engineering tasks.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work in San Francisco or relocate.
- US work authorization is required.
- Experience shipping products to real users or paying customers is preferred.
- Construction or AEC domain knowledge and early-stage startup or founding-team experience are preferred.
- Recent graduates with strong production ML portfolios are welcome.
