$203k - $274k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive significant technology initiatives end-to-end across multiple architecture layers.
- Architect and develop scalable applications and systems.
- Design and implement durable, secure, maintainable software that solves critical customer problems and integrates with other systems.
- Provide application, platform, and developer-tool recommendations and best practices.
- Partner with global teams across time zones and communicate effectively with employees, customers, management, and executives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance applications with AI technology.
- Launch AI integrations in production and evaluate their effect on performance and user satisfaction using appropriate metrics.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers on software engineering practices, AI-enabled application development, and technical growth.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class applications.
- Strong foundation in scalable application development, accessibility, internationalization, instrumentation, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in JavaScript application design and testing and in mid-tier languages such as Java.
- Experience with test automation, including unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Experience designing and implementing relational, SQL, and NoSQL databases and working with analytics.
- Experience with microservices, container technologies, Kubernetes, Mesos, cloud computing, and deploying applications and services to cloud environments.
- Interest in building CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building or integrating functional AI models using techniques such as LLM prompting and AutoML modeling.
- Ability to evaluate and monitor production AI performance and lead AI integration efforts.
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and software engineers.
- Experience working with cross-browser, cross-platform, web, mobile, and design constraints.
