Base Salary

$138k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve AI/ML and agentic AI systems from problem framing through production.
  • Build agentic AI workflows and applications using multi-step reasoning, tool or function calling, orchestration, and LLM-based agents.
  • Build and maintain scalable ML and agentic infrastructure and pipelines using production software engineering practices.
  • Apply machine learning, deep learning, generative AI/LLMs, and statistical modeling to pricing, marketing, campaign targeting, personalization, and customer analytics.
  • Contribute to technical standards, reproducibility, engineering excellence, and responsible AI/ML practices.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product teams, business stakeholders, and other partners; participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
  • Support mentoring of junior or intern staff as appropriate.
  • Communicate technical trade-offs, findings, and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Apply model validation, governance, monitoring, and risk-management frameworks to production models and agents.

Requirements

  • Typically 4+ years of experience building, deploying, and scaling machine learning and AI systems in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience developing agentic AI systems, including LLM-based agents, tool or function calling, multi-step reasoning, orchestration frameworks, and AI-assisted analytical workflows.
  • Broad expertise in machine learning, deep learning, generative AI/LLMs, and statistical modeling.
  • Strong software engineering expertise, including Python, software design principles, testing, version control, CI/CD, and production-grade code development.
  • Experience with ML frameworks, model pipelines, feature stores, orchestration, and MLOps tooling.
  • Strong quantitative training in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • Experience with model validation, diagnostic testing, and interpretation of model performance.
  • Ability to own and deliver technical projects, collaborate effectively, solve problems independently, and work in ambiguous real-world settings.
  • Preferred: experience with advanced agentic AI platforms, multi-agent systems, or retrieval-augmented generation applications at scale.
  • Preferred: experience applying AI/ML to pricing, marketing, campaign targeting, personalization, or customer analytics.
  • Preferred: understanding of causal inference and causal ML methods such as meta-learners, uplift models, causal forests, or double machine learning.
  • Preferred: PhD or master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field.
