Lead Software Engineer, (Python/Flask)
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable enterprise business applications and internal platforms supporting hundreds of engineers.
- Develop scalable Python microservices and internal platform services using Flask.
- Own infrastructure as code across AWS, Azure, and GCP using containerization.
- Design secure REST APIs with authentication, authorization, observability, and monitoring.
- Integrate enterprise applications using Informatica IICS, including CDI and CAI.
- Build highly available containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving networking, cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Apply DevSecOps practices including secrets management, IAM, vulnerability remediation, and policy automation.
- Develop tools for workforce planning, resource management, operational workflows, forecasting, reporting, and data quality.
- Create intelligent capabilities such as recommendations, data matching, notifications, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Use AI-assisted development tools while maintaining production-quality standards.
- Partner with architects and engineering leadership to improve platform reliability and developer productivity.
- Mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of total professional experience.
- 5+ years of Flask development with Python.
- Certification in at least one hyperscaler or cloud platform: AWS, Azure, GCP, or Snowflake.
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a certified hyperscaler or cloud platform.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud operations, or application maintenance.
