Responsibilities
- Define software requirements and design and implement software.
- Perform software testing, verification, validation, and integration with hardware.
- Ensure software delivers correct and complete results while meeting requirements and applicable standards.
- Communicate goals, expectations, issues, estimates, and proposed solutions with stakeholders and team members.
- Support S&C organization initiatives and complete assigned goals in line with management direction.
- Travel as needed for training, business meetings, and project work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in testing and test systems.
- Experience working on projects and in teams.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Knowledge of a configuration management system.
- Knowledge of DO-178C, including different certification levels.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent command of English.
- Willingness and capability to travel.
- Must meet applicable export license conditions based on nationality for the project; an advanced degree is preferred.
