Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop, and review requirements and control functions for automotive body and HVAC domains.
- Implement automotive control functions using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
- Conduct software unit testing using MIL and SIL techniques with Simulink Test.
- Support HIL testing, vehicle software testing, and calibration of software components.
- Generate and integrate AUTOSAR software components.
- Verify and validate software components against requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver requirements on time within an agile V-cycle framework.
Requirements
- BEng or MEng degree in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience with model-based automotive embedded control software development and verification using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Experience with verification testing in MIL and SIL environments.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR software component generation and integration.
- Knowledge of industry standards including ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
- Desired experience with Euro 7 emission legislation and its software or control implications.
- Working knowledge of Systems Engineering V-model development and automotive V-cycle software development.
- Experience with automotive network standards and tools, such as CANbus, CANalyser, Automotive Ethernet, and CANape.
- Experience applying MBSE tools and techniques, including UML, SysML, and Simulink.
- Experience developing software using embedded C and applying AUTOSAR principles.
- Working knowledge of the Vector SLP11 stack and automotive unit, SIL, MIL, and HIL testing.
- Experience in the automotive sector and with an OEM or Tier 1 organization.
