Base Salary
$78k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, scalable software features and services.
- Translate product and business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with product managers, designers, QA, and engineers.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other agile development activities.
- Apply testing practices, integrate code into CI/CD pipelines, and maintain reliable application components.
- Use logs, analytics, and performance metrics to monitor systems, validate features, and guide improvements.
- Design and maintain data models, architectures, governance practices, integrations, APIs, and event-driven solutions.
- Continuously improve engineering practices, technical capabilities, development tools, and team workflows.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience with data engineering tools and cloud platforms.
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages and frameworks, with the ability to write maintainable code and apply design patterns.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance best practices.
- Experience with analytics, business intelligence, and visualization tools.
- Familiarity with ML/AI engineering, MLOps, and model deployment practices.
- Expertise in data integration, API design, and event-driven architectures.
- Ability to understand product goals and user needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous-learning skills across technical and business teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred, or similar coding education alternatives to a traditional four-year degree.
