Base Salary
$131k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve the reliability, scalability, and monitoring of GenAI infrastructure.
- Develop scalable, high-performance ML pipelines for various applications.
- Create an easy-to-use platform for fast iteration and deployment of Generative AI products.
- Collaborate with ML Engineers and Product Engineers to evolve the platform.
- Shape the direction of DoorDash's centralized GenAI platform.
Requirements
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong backend engineering skills with experience in designing APIs and building reliable services.
- Proficient in Python and strong fundamentals in computer science.
- 2+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
- Experience in building and deploying machine learning systems in production.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or GCP) and backend services at scale.
- Ability to use AI coding tools effectively while applying strong engineering judgment.
- Problem solver who thrives on 0→1 initiatives and can navigate interconnected systems.
