Base Salary
$135k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, troubleshoot, and maintain Docker containers packaging complete software systems for T&E testbeds.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD stages for automated builds, unit and integration tests, static analysis, and artifact packaging.
- Prepare Monthly Code Drop and quarterly Major Code Revision packages with containers, execution scripts, and documentation.
- Run self-test leaderboard evaluations on internal hardware, validate scoring, diagnose failures, and report results.
- Write integration and regression tests for software components from multiple subcontractor teams.
- Enforce coding, documentation, formatting, and version-control standards across subcontractor contributions.
- Manage dependencies, version pinning, and reproducible build configurations.
- Prepare integration demonstrations and technical materials for design reviews, site visits, and progress reviews.
- Maintain build procedures, interface specifications, known-issue records, and troubleshooting documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with proficiency in Python and C/C++.
- Hands-on Docker experience, including Dockerfiles, multi-stage builds, dependency management, runtime debugging, and USB/GPU device passthrough.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, CMake, Make, pip, and conda.
- Experience writing integration and regression tests for multi-component software systems.
- Working knowledge of Git, including branching, merge conflict resolution, and repository hygiene.
- Familiarity with REST API concepts and testing or implementing API endpoints.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- US citizenship.
- Preferred experience with government-funded research programs, container security, image scanning, compliance requirements, generative AI/ML frameworks, PyTorch, GNU Radio, Ettus USRP hardware, formal verification, Z3, PySR, and integrating software from multiple external organizations.
- Master’s degree and willingness and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance are preferred.
