Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance backend components using Java, Java EE, Spring, and Hibernate.
- Build modern user interfaces with React, JSF/PrimeFaces, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and XML.
- Design and implement SOAP and REST web services for integrating business systems.
- Design, configure, and optimize Oracle databases, including performance tuning with SQL and PL/SQL.
- Manage source code with GIT and automate build and deployment processes using Jenkins and Maven.
- Operate and configure applications on JBoss Webserver, Oracle Application Server, and Apache Tomcat.
- Integrate Elasticsearch for search and analytics functionality.
- Attend regular on-site appointments while working approximately 80% remotely.
Requirements
- At least five years of practical experience with Java, Java EE, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and XML.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge.
- Experience developing SOAP and REST web services.
- Practical experience with Spring, Hibernate, React, and JSF/PrimeFaces.
- Proficiency with Eclipse IDE or IntelliJ and SQL Developer or PL/SQL Developer.
- Experience with GIT, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Knowledge of JBoss Webserver, Oracle Application Server, and Apache Tomcat.
- Experience with Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of Oracle database design, conception, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Very good German at C1 level and conversational English.
