Base Salary
$405k - $485k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own full-stack products and tools across Claude.ai, the Anthropic API, enterprise deployments, Claude Code, and mission-driven applications.
- Develop developer-experience products including the console, SDKs, documentation, and observability capabilities.
- Build systems for beneficial deployments serving nonprofits, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, life sciences researchers, and economic mobility initiatives.
- Create enterprise application capabilities such as plugins, skills, and shared organizational context to improve activation and adoption.
- Develop vertical AI products for financial services, healthcare, and legal workflows.
- Build enterprise foundations including user and permissions management, security and compliance features, and analytics infrastructure.
- Drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization through technical growth initiatives and data-driven product iteration.
- Own technical quality across performance, accessibility, reliability, and developer experience while scaling systems globally.
- Partner with engineering managers, product leaders, designers, researchers, data scientists, and marketers to ship impactful work.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of practical full-stack engineering experience, ideally including 2+ years at Staff or equivalent technical-leadership level.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex consumer or B2B user-facing products across the full stack.
- Deep expertise in modern frontend and backend development, including languages and frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
- Product-focused approach to building robust, scalable, and usable solutions.
- Experience in early-stage or rapidly evolving environments, ideally building products from 0 to 1.
- Experience mentoring peers and driving cross-team or cross-organization alignment through influence.
- Experience establishing engineering standards, component architectures, and development best practices.
- Preferred experience with React, frontend frameworks, REST APIs, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI-native product features, developer-facing products, APIs, tooling, growth initiatives, experimentation, funnel analysis, or regulated and mission-critical domains.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.

- Annual compensation range of $405,000–$485,000 USD.
- Hybrid policy requiring staff to work in an office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more.
