Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, integrate, support, and maintain reusable framework software for casino game products.
- Own assigned work across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and testing guidance.
- Develop expert knowledge of the GDK codebase and subsystems and contribute to their advancement and maintenance.
- Lead technical initiatives, build reusable software components with partner departments, and participate in code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and contribute to development process and tooling improvements.
- Ensure software meets functional, technical, quality, and gaming-regulatory standards.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience on a software development team.
- Proficiency in C# and/or C++.
- Proficiency with debugging and profiling tools, strong code review skills, and a solid understanding of software development processes.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to obtain and hold applicable Gaming Registrations/Licenses.
- Preferred qualifications include Unity 3D or Godot Game Engine knowledge, Python and TypeScript experience, game development experience, design patterns, object-oriented programming, performance optimization, and test-driven development.
