Responsibilities

Influence the design and implementation of platform capabilities for data processing and AI enablement.
Collaborate with architecture to translate architectural direction into practical implementation.
Guide teams in integrating AI/ML capabilities into scalable platform services.
Ensure solutions align with customer and business goals.
Promote clean, efficient, and maintainable code across the full stack.
Identify and drive opportunities for innovation in development tooling and platform features.
Mentor engineers through code reviews and design input.
Participate in incident retrospectives and strategy discussions.
Help teams balance speed and sustainability in delivery.

12+ years of software engineering experience in platform or data-centric product development.
Expertise in Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and/or Apache Pulsar.
Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and streaming pipelines.
Strong experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems.
Hands-on experience in Java, Python, and modern frontend frameworks like React.
Comfortable working in cloud-agnostic and hybrid environments.
Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience working within or across globally distributed teams.
