Base Salary

$118k - $158k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software systems supporting live broadcast content automation.
  • Build scalable full-stack solutions using server-side and front-end technologies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, production, operations, and creative teams.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and long-term technical strategy.
  • Balance development speed with maintainability and quality through iterative practices.
  • Provide mentorship, technical insight, and code reviews for less-experienced engineers.
  • Research and share tools and techniques that improve team efficiency.
  • Provide 24/7/365 support for live production environments and travel globally as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing, developing, and managing MySQL databases or working in a technical/software development role.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented software design.
  • Proficiency in C#, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and full-stack development.
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs and JSON data.
  • Experience building and deploying solutions of significant scope and complexity.
  • Ability to collaborate across technology, engineering, operations, production, and creative teams.
  • Ability to learn new technologies, work independently, and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and provide live-production support.
  • Experience with external data feeds and providers, plus a passion for sports and live-event production.
  • Preferred: Visual Studio, VB.NET, WPF, SQL, back-end and cloud technologies, MVVM, VizRT, Ross XPression, AI frameworks, and live studio production workflows.

Benefits

  • Full-time employment in Bristol, Connecticut.
  • Hiring range of $117,500–$157,500, with potential bonus and/or long-term incentive units in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits.
  • Global travel, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
  • 24/7/365 support for live production environments is expected.
